About Helen van Ameyde

Education, learning, and organisational development are at the core of Helen’s career and she has held management and leadership positions in both the private and public sector.

Prior to her current role, Helen worked with business units for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Helen led a global team and engaged with business partners to drive strategic direction, facilitate cultural change, and enhance skills to deliver on organisational priorities for the UK Government. In addition, Helen was the lead coach and facilitator for the development of senior Diplomats; one aspect of her role was to prepare UK Ambassadors to lead a diverse workforce at British Embassies and Consulates overseas.

Working across the Benelux region with a range of clients, including the European Commission and private sector organisations, broadened Helen’s leadership development experience. Her portfolio of work included work on team development, diversity and inclusion, executive presence, and coaching skills.

Helen also worked to implement the Training and Development Lead Body (TLDB) standards for vocational qualifications in higher and tertiary education in the UK.

Helen has a wealth of experience, creativity and a pragmatic approach that helps clients and teams to discover options and possibilities by challenging fixed mindsets and linear thinking.
